From Burnout to Baby Wisdom
I grew up in the country with hippy artist parents, raised vegetarian, surrounded by nature and creativity. Through my 20s, I travelled the world solo, and ended up working in the fast-paced world of film, TV, and live events as a camera assistant — a career that was incredibly exciting and creative, but also intense and unsustainable.
Even then, yoga was my anchor. I’d been practicing since I was 18, and it was the one thing that lifted me out of depression. It felt like more than movement — it was medicine.
At 24, while teaching yoga at a meditation retreat in Cambodia, I discovered Ayurveda. It was like everything clicked: the body, mind, spirit, and nature were all speaking the same language. I’d finally found a framework for health that matched my love of yoga’s deeper philosophy — one that honored cycles, seasons, and the sacredness of the female body.
By 26, I’d left the film industry behind, moved to Byron Bay, and committed to one year of Ayurvedic study — which turned into four. I was obsessed with preventative health and how nature’s rhythms can help us live in harmony, especially as women.
Over time, my focus sharpened. I started seeing how our inner cycles mirrored the outer ones — and how deeply disconnected many women were from both. I began working with menopausal women, then postpartum mothers, and then pregnant women. Eventually, I saw the pattern clearly:
🌀 Fertility is where it all begins.
I realised fertility isn't just about making a baby — it’s a reflection of a woman’s entire lifestyle and wellbeing. And sadly, most of us are taught to fear our bodies, doubt our timelines, and hand over our power to a system that doesn’t always have our best interest at heart.
At 31, after ending a 10-year relationship, I felt that fear myself. I was overwhelmed by age anxiety and started learning the Fertility Awareness Method. I was shocked to discover I was having infertile cycles — despite doing "all the right things."
That’s when I went to India with my new partner (now husband) and did Panchakarma, a powerful Ayurvedic detox. It changed everything. My cycle returned to full health, and with it came a deep inner peace.
Today, I’m 36 and haven’t started trying to conceive yet — and yet I’ve never felt more confident in my body, my timeline, and my future.
And now I’ve helped over 150+ women do the same — preparing their bodies and minds for conscious, natural conception without panic, pressure, or over-medicalization.

About Ayurveda
Ayurveda is a holistic and energetic medicine that guides us toward health, happiness & longevity utilising ancient wisdom culminating the interrelationship between Mind, Body Senses & Soul.
When one’s body-intelligence becomes imbalanced over time due to improper diet, lifestyle, relationships or stress, it creates disharmony in the body-mind. This imbalance if unnoticed or not tended to, can lead to disease manifestation, and issues such as hormonal imbalances & fertility challenges.
Ayurveda offers us timeless principles and tools, still applicable today through its rich knowledge of Daily Practices (Dinacharya), Diet & Nutrition (Ahaar), Lifestyle & Therapies (Vihaar) & Medicines (Aushadi) to promote health and wellbeing for all.
We all have an inner knowing, a compass to guide one towards health - Ayurveda is a guide for showing us the way.
